History:

Mercedes-Benz was established in 1886 by Karl Benz, Emil Jellinek, Gottlieb Daimler,and Wilhelm Mayback.The global headquarters for Mercedes Benz is the Daimler Group corporate headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. The headquarters for Mercedes-Benz North American are located in Montvale, NJ. These automobiles are manufactured in 25 countries making 19 different classes of cars with each class having at least 2-3 different styles.

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is responsible for the distribution and marketing of Mercedes-Benz, smart, and Sprinter products as a part of Daimer. 2013 was the highest grossing year for Mercedes-Benz, with a whopping 312,534 units or automobiles sold. This was a 14% increase over the previous year. Importation of these amazing automobiles actually began in 1952, by Mr. Max Hoffman.

Mercedes-Benz was in position in 1957 to expand its reach in the United States and entered a distribution agreement with the Studebaker-Packard Corporation. Eight years later the company stepped out on its own and has never looked back!

Nationwide, this company employs 1600, who have been acknowledged with working for one of the 100 BEST companies to work for by Fortune Magazine. Mercedes-Benz has 362 dealerships who also employ 22,000 people.
